Patu Whakairo 2 - Carved Maori Tool and Weapon
The Patu is a traditional tool and Maori War Club used by Maori Warriors.
It is a short hand club, carved out of Bone, Wood, or Pounamu (Greenstone) and was a lethal weapon in the hands of a competent warrior.
Today, it can symbolise facing and overcoming lifes difficulties and challenges.
This Patu is a replica Maori Art piece. It is beautifully laser engraved from native New Zealand Rimu wood with New Zealand image Paua shell inlay.
